Sellers of an independent apartment block in the cities of Gurugram, Faridabad, and the National Capital Region are seeing a new trend-Customers buying entire four-story complexes for friends and family. Real estate consultants and developers see this trend as a consequence of the COVID-19 pandemic. 'We're getting more and more requests from people who want to live with someone they know, added an official.
The new trend comes at a time when Gurugram and Faridabad are expected to attract investment of nearly 7,000 crores to build 20,000 independent floors with several developers planning to focus on low-rise buildings after government programs are introduced.
