Job Summary:

You will be responsible for managing and overseeing the financial operations and accounting activities of our Indian operations. Your role will involve financial reporting, budgeting, taxation, compliance, and financial analysis. With your expertise in finance, you will contribute to ensuring financial integrity, providing valuable insights to support business decisions, and contributing to the company's financial success in India.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Indian accounting standards (IND AS) and relevant regulations. 
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Support the budgeting and forecasting processes, providing financial insights to support business planning and performance tracking. 
  • Taxation and Compliance: Assist in tax planning, compliance, and reporting activities, including direct and indirect taxes, adhering to Indian tax laws and regulations. 
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis, variance analysis, and performance evaluation to provide valuable insights to senior management. 
  • Treasury and Cash Management: Assist in cash flow management, working capital, and foreign exchange transactions, optimizing cash utilization and supporting banking relationships. 
  • Risk Management: Identify financial risks and contribute to implementing risk mitigation strategies to safeguard the company's financial assets. 
  • Audit Management: Support internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with auditing standards and assisting in resolving audit-related matters. 
  • Cost Control: Contribute to cost control measures and financial efficiency initiatives to optimize profitability. 
  • Team Support: Collaborate with the finance and accounts team, providing guidance, support, and fostering a highperformance culture. 
  • Financial Policies and Procedures: Assist in developing and enforcing financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to promote compliance and ensure financial integrity.

Skills:

  • Knowledge of Indian accounting standards (IND AS) and taxation laws. 
  • Strong financial analysis and reporting skills, with the ability to provide insights to support business decisions. 
  • Familiarity with treasury and cash management principles. 
  • Experience in managing and supporting finance and accounts teams. 
  • Effective communication and presentation skills for interaction with stakeholders and senior management. 
  • Proficiency in using financial software and ERP systems. 
  • Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines. 
  • Business acumen and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Work type & shift

  • Full-Time, Day shift : 9:30 AM - 6:30 PM

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A professional accounting qualification such as CA or CMA is preferred. 
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in finance and accounting roles, with experience in a supervisory or managerial position in a multinational or large Indian company.
