Electronic giant, Samsung has recently completed the work of establishing a display manufacturing unit in Noida due to the better industrial environment and investor-friendly policies. The manufacturing unit was earlier located in China.
An official call was made between the delegation of Samsung led by the company's Southwest Asia President & CEO Ken Kang and Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath recently.
The display manufacturing unit of Samsung has been now completely shifted from China to Noida in Uttar Pradesh due to the availability of a better industrial environment along with excellent investor-friendly policies.
The delegation also added that if we look at the construction, India has a better commitment to work and is eager to make Uttar Pradesh a manufacturing hub. The CM of Uttar Pradesh said that “Samsung's Noida factory is a classic example of the success of the 'Make in India' program. He also added that- the move will help the youth to get better employment opportunities in the state.
Yogi Adityanath in the meet also confirmed that the state government welcomes the setup of manufacturing units in the state and will continue to extend support to the Samsung company in taking other such initiatives in the future as well.
